Blown-in or loose-fill insulation, comes in tiny pieces compressed together into one large rectangular block. A special machine is used to break up the large block of insulation and the little pieces are then vacuumed through a long tube that is fed into the attic where the insulation blows out to fill in the necessary spaces in the attic.
How do I know if my attic has enough insulation near Magnolia??
Using R-3 value per inch as an example, if the insulation is level with or below the attic floor joists, you probably need to add more insulation. If you look across your attic and see the insulation rising well above the floor joists, this means you probably have enough and adding more insulation may not be cost-effective.

A lot of times when you call HVAC companies out you never know if you are getting a straight shooter but thankfully Blake was a top notch tech who knew his stuff! Our A/C decided to give us problems on one of hottest days AND we were hosting a baby shower with people already arriving. They truly are 24/7 but only to learn your issue and give you a (very) rough estimate of when they will arrive. So at 10pm on a Friday night my A/C started blowing less than cool air, so I called them… More and they answered right away and said they will arrive mid-morning Saturday. At 10:45am Saturday they called to say it will be afternoon due to several people ahead of me. All of the above is just to say that if you need service at 10pm on a Friday night, Country Air is the only place that will answer the phone and give you a rough arrival time that will be updated the next day. But you can count on them to fix your problem on that day! They get right to the problem and get that fixed without trying to add extra work to the bill.
